HISTORY: Edward was born in Paris, France to Vincent and Charlotte Dillinger. At the time, his father was working as a local musician, while his mother was a waitress in one of Paris' smaller restaurants. As you could imagine, a waitress and a struggling musician's income was barely enough to take care of the couple's bills, let alone put food on the table. Things only seemed to get harder on the pair with the birth of their son, even though they couldn't have been happier. The couple longed for a child of their own, but under the circumstances, they could barely afford to take care of themselves. Though, Vincent and Charlotte somehow found a way to manage, and cut back on their living expenses, even more so than before. This caused problems with rent, especially since most of the couple's income was going to wards their son, and his needs.
Not long passed before the family got evicted from their home, and were forced to go out on the streets of Paris. To most, this would seem like a terrible situation, as it was, but Charlotte always seemed to make the best of a bad situation. The couple continued to work, while staying in the shelter at night. The days went on like this, until they gathered enough money to rent out a small motel room. They lived in motels for a few years, until Edward was old enough to work. He spent every day working hard to earn a good amount of money, so he could help out his struggling family. This was also around the time that little Edward got into jazz music. He loved it from the very moment he heard it. Listening to the smooth melody of a saxophone somewhat calmed Eddie, and his parents took notice to it quickly.
As the months passed the three worked up enough money to rent out a small trailer. Things were finally starting to look up, well, that is until Eddie turned fifteen. It was his birthday, and his parents were rushing home from work, wanting to spend the day with their son, and give him his birthday present. His parents saved up all of the money that they could and spent it on a brand new saxophone for Edward. But, while driving, Vincent wasn't paying attention to the road, and crashed. The two never made it home. When the police came to the Dillinger household, well, hotel room, they had the hard task of breaking the news to Edward. And, while doing so they gave him the only remaining items that were saved from the crash; a letter and the saxophone.
After the incident Edward was forced into a foster home, seeing as how he had no real family living in France. He stayed there, with the other children, waiting to be taken into an unfamiliar home and raised as someone else's child. But as the years passed, no one came for him. Most of the couples that came in either wanted babies, or the younger children. However, Edward wasn't bothered by this, in his eyes, no one could ever replace his parents. On the upside, his bond with the other foster children grew, and they became a sort of family. They looked out for eachother, loved eachother.

YOUR NAME: Manda.
YOUR AGE: Seventeen.
YOUR RP EXPERIENCE: Four years.
YOUR SAMPLE: The sounds of animals invaded the zoo's grounds. With every turn of a corner a new familiar mammal came into view. It was the perfect place to spend the day, not only was it calm and relaxing, it was intriguing to get to see all of the animals that roam the earth's soil. It was strangely hard to believe that all of these magnificent creatures existed, sure you've heard about them and seen them on television, but seeing them up close was a whole different story. It was also the perfect place to bring children, and that's exactly what Jimmy and Mercedes was doing. Jimmy always wanted Lily to be able to see as much as she could in her childhood, and the zoo was the first stop. He knew that she would love it, Lily always had a passion for animals, and it being her first time ever in an actual zoo he knew she would enjoy herself.
Blue gems kept their stare on a near by exhibit. A mother elephant protectively watched as her baby ate. More and more people crowded around the caged animal, showing their admiration by snapping pictures. It truly was a place of wonder. His gaze slowly switched from the giant animal to the front of the line he was standing in, which surprising grew shorter. After the woman in front of him left he stepped up to order. A young teenage boy stood behind the counter, waiting for his next customer. Jimmy eyed the menu swiftly before letting his musical tone enter the still air. "Just a small lemonade." He reached into his back pocket and retrieved his wallet, opening it up he grabbed out a five dollar bill. The kid behind the counter forced a tired sigh before totaling up the cost, "That'll be $2.85." Jimmy handed over the bill and retrieved the drink.
He mindlessly made his way through the crowds as he neared his destination. It wasn't long until Mercedes came into view. She was as beautiful as ever. Silky blond hair, eyes that shaun brighter than the sun itself, and a body more breathtaking than any goddess known to man. It was still hard to believe that he got to see this work of art each day, he surely thought that she would have left by now. Especially seeing as how his 'home' wasn't the most welcoming. But, at least it was better than her staying with Jack, hell anything was better than her staying with that asshole. Jimmy personally loathed the man, more so than any human being he'd met, even more than his abusive step-father. Although when it came down to it, it was Mercedes choice, Jimmy would never force her to stay with him, though he would do everything in his power to keep Jack away, even if that meant getting into past business.
His steps siezed infant of the two, with bright eyes he gently handed Lily her lemonade, "Here you go babe." Her smile grew as she grabbed the drink from his hand. Baby blue eyes shifted from the little girl back over to Mercedes, the corners of his mouth tilted up to form the perfect smile. He couldn't help but smile in her presence, it was something that automatically occurred when she came into sight.
His eyes continued to gaze into her emeralds until Lily's voice became audible, "Can we go see the lions next?" A low chuckle slipped passed his lips at her excitement, "Of course we can, but maybe we should grab some food first, are you hungry?" Of course he knew the answer, what kid wanted to stop and eat when they could run around and watch animals? Especially Lily, her love for the creatures made it clear she wasn't in the mood to eat. "No, I not hungry." His left brow raised slightly as a known smile appeared, "Of course you're not." His attention shifted back onto Mercedes, waiting for her opinion.
