NICK NAME: Jackie or Jack
AGE: 18
GRADE OR OCCUPATION: College Student, Store clerk
ORIENTATION: Bisexual
ALLIANCE: Villain
FACE CLAIM: Auburn Williams
EYE COLOR: Brown
HAIR COLOR: Black
HEIGHT AND WEIGHT: 5'6” and 140 lbs
DESCRIPTION: Jacqueline is fairly average in both height and weight, and has a slightly athletic look to her. At first glance, her hair appears to be straight, falling to her waist the bangs cut straight across her forehead, though closer inspection betrays slight waves. Her hair only helps to deepen her dark brown eyes, adding a slight shadow to them, like what she says isn't what she feels. She thinks her nose is a bit too big and she doesn't like the way it has a slight upturned look to it. Jack feels her lips make up for it though, plump and soft, often upturned in a slightly mischievous smile. People tend to say she's curvy, though it's nothing major. Her body has a slight hardness to it, and athletic look gained from running track most of her high school years. She tends to dress in jeans and loose, comfortable shirts, golden bangles jingling around her wrists.
PERSONALITY: As much as she tried to hide it, She is a bit of a leader, she takes charge often with out thinking. She's loud, brash, and a bit uncouth. Rough, some might describe her, because under neath all that is someone who actually cares. Sort of. She has a tendency to be a bit selfish. Self preservation and all that, it's not that she means to, it's just sort of instinct. That doesn't stop her from dragging others into her schemes though. She also tends to manipulate others a bit almost unconsciously, getting them to listen to her and follow her instructions. She likes to say she just draws people in, and that's true. She is fairly charismatic and has a way with words that makes people tend to stick around/
HOMETOWN: Los Angeles
FAMILY MEMBERS: Mother; Adrianne, Father, Leroy, Little Sister; Victoria
HISTORY: Jacqueline had never really meant to cause trouble. But trouble she was from the day she was born. She was a loud kid, one who called all the other kids out of their yards. She convinced them to help her, and they went on adventures. Often, other kids wound up hurt, yet they kept coming back despite their parents telling them no. Jacqueline's parents apologized time after time after time, until they got fed up. They moved around LA Several times, yet the same things kept happening. Jacqueline would get the kids into plots until they were the most hated family in the neighborhood.
Jacqueline didn't understand. It wasn't her fault! They kept following her and listening to her. It wasn't her fault they couldn't run fast enough, jump high enough or climb well enough. It wasn't fair. After their 3rd move, Her parents sat down with her to explain things. A new baby was on the way, and they had finally bought this home, instead of renting. They couldn't move any more, not like they had before. Jacqueline drank it all in, a bit concerned. Were they tired of her?She didn't understand. Why did they need a new baby? She didn't like it. So she ran away. She ran and hid in the park, sitting in the bushes. It was there that she first felt it. That odd sense that someone was there with her. She was a bit confused, but soon decided she liked it. It gave her suggestions, not in words, but in feelings. Like hide here. Go there. But it wasn't enough. Her father found her two days later. She was scolded. She had scared them, she had made her mother cry. It wasn't fair! It was their fault she ran away! They didn't want her any more! Again, they sat down as a family and explained things. Still, Jacqueline didn't like it, but there was nothing she could do.
When Victoria was born, Jacqueline grudgingly accepted her. She was weird, all small with tiny hands, and she smelled funny. The 10 year old child decided she didn't have much opinion on the baby. But as she grew, she started to enjoy the effects of being a big sister. Victoria idolized her. She adored her in every way, and listened to what ever she said. This was better than the other children. This was pure devotion. The two got into quite a bit of trouble, and their parents always knew the cause.
When Jacqueline in High School, she fell into the wrong crowd. She started smoking, both legal and illegal substances. She started drinking and staying out all night. But the worst part? She started stealing. She was a great thief, an amazing scavenger. She had a way of finding the choice items, and hands that were purely magical. Unfortunately, one day her magic wasn't working. It was that feeling, it told her to take something bigger. Something better. It was then that she was caught red-handed behind the wheel of a stolen car. She ended up getting off fairly easy due to personal charm and a good lawyer. She ended up spending her next two years in correctional school, most of those years spent studying and running track.
It was not long after graduating that they got the letter. The letter confused them, but after a bit, Jacqueline decided to tell them about the urges. The feelings she got, that off presence that hung around her. With that, they decided perhaps this would be best for her, and with money clenched in one hand Jacqueline headed to Maine.
DISNEY CHARACTER: Shenzi
ABILITIES/ATTRIBUTES: Shenzi is a scavenger, this makes Jacqueline surprisingly good at finding expensive items and estimating their worth, her fingers are light and deft, making her quite good at stealing said items. She also has an iron gut, she can eat items that would seem fairly 'Iffy' to others with out as bad of consequences. When fully awakened, she can become a female hyena, but only for short increments of time, an hour at most.
DESCRIPTION: Jacqueline is vaguely aware of Shenzi. She doesn't know which character she is, but she knows there is one living within her. She understands that the random urges and feelings she gets come from the character, and frankly, it concerns her a bit. Shenzi's personality shines through, even if Jacqueline doesn't know it. Her leadership skills, her charisma, and her devious tendencies are all trademarks of the Hyena.
YOUR NAME: Alyssa
YOUR AGE: 21
YOUR RP EXPERIENCE: 11 years
YOUR SAMPLE: Sometimes, you wake up in the morning and you just need something. You never know what it is until it's right in your face, and it takes you a while to find it. And until you do, you wander around like a man possessed. Needing it, hungering for it.
Lyr had one of those mornings. Her first night at the Weyr was uneventful. Kida hadn't minded being handed off quite so much. She was young. She would get used to it. For Lyr though, it was heartbreaking. She still felt the queasiness that a person only gets after crying all night. It was mighty disorienting, as it mixed with her new found hunger, and when she stood the room span out of control. A few labored breaths, and she was good again, enough to give her room a wary look over. Clothes were piled on top of the trunk at the foot of her bed, and the set of drawers at her right had a pile of untouched fabrics, in varying colors. There was even a bag of wool leaning heavily against the side of the drawers, a bit of it spilling out.
Stumbling to the edge of her bed, she looked through the pile of clothing until she found what she wanted. Sandy breeches were pulled on beneath the large blue shirt she wore to sleep in, the color faded a bit due to time. Lyr was so hungry, she almost didn't care about anything else, but she paused in front of the mirror long enough to pull her hair into a tail at the nape of her neck. To flustered to bother brushing it. She wasn't quite 'Presentable', but the light outside was still thin and watery as dawn battled ever daunting night. No one would care.
Slipping from the candidate's barracks, she took a pause to listen. She didn't hear any of the other candidates so far. Good. She would hate to have woken someone up. Her steps were soft and muted, bare feet were the best for sneaking she had found out, and she peered around corners before venturing out. Soon, she made her way to the kitchen.
Ah the kitchen, it had to be her favorite place to be. Something about food enchanted her. It was a way for her to show people she loved them, with out speaking. Food was a peacemaker, even enemies could bond over a good dinner. Here, she snooped around a bit, searching for what she craved. She knew it would be something sweet. Something fresh. Soon, she found a small, but plump yellow fruit. Instantly, she knew that it was that fruit that she needed. Hungrily, she bit into it, juices rolling down her chin, Lyr humming softly in pleasure. It was perfect. The flesh was crisp, and it had a slight sweetness, a clean flavor that woke her up and cleared her mind. It was heavenly.
