HISTORY: Maida's parent's where taken from her when she was 6 years old. A Man had broken into their homes to steal their valuables one night while they were all sleeping, and when her father got out of bed and tried to stop him the Robber shot him. The gun shot woke Maida from her bed and she went running down the stairs to see what was going on, but her mother caught her and told her to go into her room and hide there until she came to get her. Maida did as she was told and curled up underneath her bed. Her mother never did come back. Instead, one of the neighbors had heard the shots and came over to see what happened. He found Maida under the bed and took her out of the house, making sure to keep her from seeing what had happened to her mother in father.
Time after that moved quickly, The funeral went by in a blur. Then it they had to find a place for her to live. Many of the family members offered to take her, but it was her father's mother who took her in. Her grandmother was a very kind woman and tried to make living there fun for her. She would tell Maida stories and teach her things like baking and sewing. in time Maida learned to accept the fact that her parents were gone and learned to enjoy her life with her grandmother. She never left the house much, only to run errands for her grandmother and to take short walks. This was mostly because, even though she was very young when it happened, She was afraid of the world and the people in it. She was afraid of one day running into a man like the one who killed her parents just for a little bit of money.
She spent most of her time with her nose in books. Her way of traveling was to escape into the world of books. She could go anywhere she wanted and see all the things she needed to see by reading. Her grandmother loved that Maida loved being in the house with her, but began to worry that she would spend her life in a book and not experience the world like a young lady should. So when Maida was 12 she arranged for her to go to a finishing school to learn how to act like a proper young lady like she was born to be. So reluctantly Maida agreed to go, even though she was afraid to leave the comfort of her home.
Once she got there she adjusted rather quickly. Still mainly staying away from people. She was a very good student and study hard. Her favorite subjects were Music and Literature. Music calmed her and she soon found out that singing was something she was very good at. Another thing that she was good at which surprised her was fencing and archery. She found that she had a natural talent for it and it became another one of her favorite things to do. though she was never aggressive with her fencing and always tried to have fun with it. It was one of the only social interactions that she was comfortable with. Her teacher’s told her she had a wonderful talent and it made her feel more welcome at the school.
When she turned 15, she received a letter. At first she thought it was some kind of prank someone was pulling on her, but the more she thought about it the more curious she had become. So even though she was afraid, She traveled to America and started classes at the Classic Academy. The day she turned 16 was the day was the day that Marian awoke. Marian was very polite and kind, and never tried to force anything on Maida. She took things slowly with Maida and helped her get used to the idea. Marian noticed that Maida wasn’t really a people person and started helping her learn how to make friends and talk to people.
It’s been two years since her character awakened and surprisingly it is like having a close friend with her at all time. She loves Marian and is happy to have her.
DISNEY CHARACTER: Maid Marian
ABILITIES/ATTRIBUTES: She has the ability to change into a fox, and she has a natural talent for fencing and Archery, She always hits what she aims at, though she is no robin hood.
DESCRIPTION:
Marian and Maida complement each other. Maida is often shy and quiet, not wanting to speak up for herself or speak her mind. Marian is courageous and clever, she is kind to everyone she meets and stands up for what she believes in. Marian very often gives her the confidence Maida needs to be an outgoing and fun person. She helps Maida figure out the life isn’t just about school work or books, that she needs to get out and be around people. To help them and show everyone what a little bit of kindness can do. A little bit of courage goes a long way and that sometimes you have to fight for what is right, even if your scared. Maida learns a lot from Marian. Together they make a pretty good pair.
One of the only things that Maida has a problem with is the fact that Marian is constantly waiting for Robin to show up. Him showing up is one of Maida’s biggest fear right now. She doesn’t want Marian to make her love someone she barely even knows, and what if the guy with Robin’s spirit felt the same way. What if he fights against Robin and doesn’t want to love her. Wouldn’t that make the two of them miserable all the time? She doesn’t want anyone to be forced to be around her just because it would make Marian happy, even though she doesn’t want to make her unhappy. Love is a very serious thing to Maida, She thinks it is something that needs to be taken slowly and worked at. She doesn’t want a rush relationship where a guy shows up and she marry’s him in the next few days like a fairy tale. She doesn’t believe that kind of stuff actually works. Not only that but the fact that Robin hood was a robber who stole from the rich and gave to the poor, is another thing she hated. He parents had been killed after all by a robber who was stealing from the rich. Marian tries to explain that Robin would never hurt innocent people like that, but even though Maida knows that it is true. It doesn't change the fact that he is a thief, and Maida could never be with a thief willingly.

Everything was dark, She couldn‘t see anything. “I’m falling…I’m falling” that was the only thought going through her head. She didn’t know where she was, It must have been some kind of hole because she was clawing at what felt like a muddy wall. Then she heard it, a voice calling out to her.
“I got you! Everything will be okay!”
She felt a strong hand wrap around her wrist but she didn’t stop falling. Whoever had a hold of her was falling to. She could barely see his face, but she knew. She was in love with this person…and she was pulling him down. If he didn’t let go…“No it won’t! It won’t be okay!…You have to let me go! I told you this would happen, Please let me go!” She didn’t want him to die, He needed to live. “Let me go!”
“No!…I can’t…I won’t!”
She could tell by the sound of his voice that he was straining to keep a hold. His fingers were digging into her skin. He was trying his best, but his hand slipped away, And Lena was engulfed by darkness.
She woke up screaming as usual. Her wrist ached and she was covered in mud. The same dream every night for the past year, And it always seemed so real. The mud she was covered in and the marks on her wrist only made it seem more real. She had given up on trying to figure it out. The only thing she ever thought of was the boy in the dream. Was he real to? And if he was, did he have the same dreams to? It didn’t matter. She would probably never find out.
She tore her muddy sheets from her bed and tossed them into the hamper before heading into the bathroom to a shower. She had more important things to think about then weird dreams. Like today was her first day at another new school, and the fact that she only had 152 days until she turned 16.…152 days…till she died.
She looked down at the drain as the last of the mud from her dream washed away. The hot water felt good on her body, Which was still sore from the dream. She climbed out and dried her self off. She pulled on a pair of old worn out jeans and a black band tee. She wasn’t one to care about how she looked, especially when she was at school. She had given up on trying to fit in a long time ago. Wrapped her wrist up and put a leather band over it to hide the bandages. The last thing she wanted was for people to think she cut her wrists, and it wasn’t like she could tell anyone that a guy in her Dreams hurt her wrist trying to save her life.
She took her favorite Sharpie from her desk and wrote the number 152 on her hand. She liked to keep it there as a reminder. As if she could forget though. She walked past her uncle’s study. She could hear the keys on his keyboard clicking away, He was busy looking up things that might explain why she was going to die. “I’m going to school!” She called to him as she headed down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs was Alfonse, or Al, Waiting for her. He was a huge, black, shaggy haired wolf that her Uncle had raised from a pup. He had followed her where ever she went ever since she had gotten to her uncles house. “You know you can’t go into the school with me right?” She said to him as he followed her out the door. He just ignored her which told her he understood. She walked up to her uncles car, A black hearse, as if they were not weird enough. She would have to drive that to school for the rest of her remaining time. She was defiantly going to be labeled a freak. She looked back at Al, “are you riding or running?” He snorted at her then took off running towards the school. Of course he would run, he hates cars.
She managed to make it to school on time. Ignoring the eyes of others as she stepped out of her uncles car. The school was probably already buzzing about the weird new girl driving the hearse. So much for first impressions. She decided it would be best not to worry about it for now. She headed to her first class, which was English, and sat down in the back by the window. She could her the girls around her start whispering things but she didn’t let it get to her, at least she thought she didn’t. Outside it was starting to rain, she knew it was getting to her.
She pulled out an old worn out notebook from her and started writing, it was a journal of some sorts, but it also had poetry and drawings. She ignored everyone else who was coming into the classroom as they came in. though when she heard a familiar voice in the room she froze…“It cant be…It just can’t She couldn’t bring herself to look so she kept her eyes glued onto the window.
