MALE WHO WORKS AS THE PROFESSOR
OF SORCERY AT CLASSIC ACADEMY IN
MEMORY, MAINE. OH YEAH, AND THE
SPIRIT OF JAFAR FROM ALADDIN LIVES
IN HIM. BUT THAT’S NORMAL AROUND
THESE PARTS. RIGHT, SO WHAT DO YOU
NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MR FAR? WELL,
FOR A START JOHN CAN USE MAGIC, SO
YOU PROBABLY DON’T WANT TO GET
ON THE WRONG SIDE OF HIM. HE’S SMART
AND QUITE FULL OF HIMSELF, AND DOES
HAVE AN EVIL STREAK THANKS TO THE
PRESENCE OF JAFAR, PLUS HE CAN BE
QUITE SOCIABLE WHEN HE DECIDES HE
LIKES YOU. SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING
FOR? ROLL UP, ROLL UP AND MEET THE
MAGNIFICENT JOHN ANDREW FAR!

NOW NOT EVERYONE WILL GET ON WITH
JOHN. HE CAN BE PLEASANT IF HE WANTS
TO BE, AND HE CAN BE PRETTY SOCIABLE.
HOWEVER THAT IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM
BEING HIS FRIEND. IF HE LETS YOU IN TO
HIS LITTLE CIRCLE, YOU’RE IN LUCK, AS
HE IS WILLING TO PULL SOME STRINGS FOR
HIS FRIENDS… TO SOME EXTENT. HE’S NOT
THE PERFECT FRIEND BUT HE’S USEFUL TO
HAVE ON YOUR SIDE. SO, ANYONE FANCY
MAKING FRIENDS WITH GOOD OL’ MR FAR?
YOU NEVER KNOW HOW IT’LL WORK OUT
FOR YOU. HE NEEDS A COUPLE OF CLOSE
FRIENDS, MAYBE A FEW ASSOCIATES, SO
JUST POST BELOW IF YOU’RE INTERESTED.

JOHN CAN BE QUITE SKILLED AT GETTING
ENEMIES. IN FACT, HE’S SO GOOD AT IT, HE
DOESN’T NOTICE HE’S DOING IT. HE HAS A
CERTAIN HOLIER-THAN-THOU ATTITUDE
THAT SOME PEOPLE JUST DON’T LIKE. FANCY
BEING ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHOM HE CUTS
DOWN WITH QUIPS AND JIBES WHEN HE GETS
ANNOYED? AFTER ALL, ENEMIES ARE THE
BEST TYPE OF DRAMA AREN’T THEY? SO CO-
ME ON, LET’S GET SOME ENEMIES FOR JOHN.
IT CAN BE FOR WHATEVER REASON YOU
WANT: MAYBE JOHN DID SOMETHING YOUR
CHARACTER DISLIKED, OR VICE VERSA, OR
MAYBE THEY SIMPLY RUB EACH OTHER UP
THE WRONG WAY. LET ME KNOW AND WE’LL
PLOT SOMETHING FUN OUT, ‘KAY?

AND NOW WE ENTER THE SLIGHTLY TRICKY
AREA. JOHN ISN’T EXACTLY A ROMANTIC
PERSON, AND IT WOULD BE TRICKY TO GET
HIM TO LOOK AT YOU IN THAT WAY. BUT
LET’S SAY HE DOES, LET’S SAY HE FALLS
FOR SOMEONE. IT WOULD DRIVE JAFAR MAD,
AND HOW FUN WOULD THAT BE? IT MIGHT
BE KIND OF FUN FOR MR FAR TO FIND SOME-
ONE WHO JUST PRESSES ALL THE RIGHT BU-
TTONS AND SEE HOW HE REACTS TO THEM.

SHERE ARTHUR CAINE: SO. MUCH. PLOTTING. I think it go either friends or enemies, completely up to you. Shere's trying to get control of Flash/Iago to use his talents to eventually help him capture/kill whoever Mowgli is, and I don't suspect Jafar would be keen on the idea of sharing his little side kick. So that could make for some great drama or something. On the other hand, John and Shere could both use poor little unsuspecting Flash, sort of like a mutual alliance? Your choice, I'm down with either!

ALICE KAREN DAY: I'm thinking about her taking John's sorcery class because I guess what Alice will be able to do (the shrinking/growing thing, possibly being able to cast psychedelic illusions on people) is a type of sorcery? Not the traditional kind, mind you, but there's gotta be some flexibility with such a wide range of characters. How would John take to Alice?

ROCKY STEVEN MEEKER: Hmmm, can't really see much of a plot with these two.

Aha, yes, I had a look at that thread ^_^. I was thinking maybe a mix of friends and enemies? So at first, they were friends: after all, they both work at the academy, they both have a slight aversion to making friends and they both think they're much better than everyone else. So I think they'd probably get on pretty well with each other, since they have a lot in common and wouldn't be over zealous when talking to each other. And Shere might want to keep John on side so that he can get away with grooming Flash for his own uses without Jafar finding out? Buuuuut, of course, when Jafar does find out about the whole Iago deal, he's going to flip, and want to turn on Shere. John would probably want to keep an alliance up as a charade and try and trick Iago onto his side, whilst Jafar would be angry and want an all out war. Anyway, that was just the idea I had, feel free to ignore it xD.

I think it's a great idea for Alice to take John's class, sorcery and magic crosses a wide range, so her abilities definitely fit in there. I reckon he'd get really irritated by her which would be fun, since she's really curious so I assume she'd keep asking questions, and her app says she forgets things she learns quite easily, so she'd probably want him to go over things again and again? I may be wrong about that but that's the impression I got xD. But that would be really quite interesting I think, to see how long John could keep his temper with her, especially since Jafar would be getting even more irritated than him.

SHERE ARTHUR CAINE: YES. BRILLIANT, YOU ARE! Heather and I were talking about setting up a faculty meeting pretty soon so Shere and John could talk there. This is Shere's second year of teaching, so if John's already been teaching for awhile then Shere will probably know of him, but also never really bothered to know more about him. This could be their chance to meet and then we can start another thread regarding your fantastic Iago plot. ('Course we have to clear things with Heather, too, haha.)

ALICE KAREN DAY: Woo, you know Alice better than I do! Yes, I can see her being daft and spacey and asking a lot of questions but also really interested in the class once she wakes up (which will hopefully be soon if the thread with Raymond goes right). Man, we gotta get more seniors and other students, though!

Haha, glad you like it xD. A faculty meeting sounds brilliant, and yeah, John's been there a while I think so they probably just know of each other at this point and can work off that basis. But yay, I'm excited now.

Great, can't wait to see her in class and get John all annoyed ^^. And yeah, if/when I make another character I'll definitely make a student. I just really wanted Jafar and it seemed appropriate for him to be quite old.
