PIPER ADSILA POWHATAN
FULL NAME: Piper Adsila Powhatan
NICK NAME: Pippy
AGE: 25
GRADE OR OCCUPATION: She's "searching for herself" (Unemployed)
ORIENTATION: Hetrero
FACE CLAIM:Rosario Dawson
EYE COLOR: Brown
HAIR COLOR: Dark Brown
HEIGHT AND WEIGHT:5'8, 140lbs
DESCRIPTION:
As far as looks go, Piper is what most would consider beautiful. She has long dark brown hair, which many mistake for black, that falls in loose waves around her heart-shaped face without her ever having to do much to it. She keeps it long, but it usually ends up in a pony-tail or messy bun by the end of the day. Her eyes, like her hair, are a dark brown, almost black color, but when she’s angry, people have said they flash red, only momentarily, but long enough to freak people out. One of Piper’s biggest gripes is she’s never seen this color change herself, but rather only gets to hear about it from others, despite the numerous hours she’s spent in front of the mirror trying to upset herself. Unfortunately for Piper, the eye flash is nothing more than a trick of the light catching her eye at just the right moment. It happens many times a day, yet no one ever notices unless she’s angry.
The rest of Piper’s facial features are very soft, and give her a look of youthful innocence that she despises nearly as much as her inability to see the eye flash. Often, Piper will put on heavier make-up than necessary in order to give her a more mature appearance, but her efforts are hit or miss, sometimes making her look like a woman, and other times causing her to resemble a five-year old girl who got into her mother’s make-up.
PERSONALITY: Ever since Piper came out of the womb, she’s been getting into some sort of trouble. Most of it isn’t intentional, but she has the curiosity of a puppy and the will-power of a two-year old to say no to anything that looks remotely interesting. She has the uncanny ability to always end up where she shouldn’t be and to see something she wasn’t supposed to. However, this curiosity made her hate school with a passion. What fun is there in reading about something in a book when she can just go out into the real world and see it for herself? Because of this particular conviction, she skipped class often, giving her the label of a “bad apple” and subsequently getting her kicked out of her old private school. Who knew there was a limit on how many absences one could have?
Piper’s curiosity also stems her extreme open-mindedness, simply based on everything she’s seen and experienced. She’s willing to try anything once and accept anyone or anything as they are (though, there will be questions). Piper feels that everything has something to teach her, and often she will adopt the habits or styles of her latest encounter, giving her a very eccentric look and personality. In her efforts to learn, she can sometimes be seen talking to trees, animals, bodies of water, rocks, or anything really in hopes of finding out some secret they have to offer about life. Whether she gets answers or not is an entirely different story.
Another aspect of Piper’s personality is her defiant attitude, she only hears what she wants to. If someone tells her “no”, she hears a “maybe”. And a “maybe” is practically the closest thing to “yes”, except for the ever-amazing “we’ll see”, that is. So she does what she wants, yet somehow always manages to get caught. Thankfully, despite her selective hearing, she is honest, and will fess up to whatever it is she got herself into. At times like those, the adults in her life have no idea whether to be proud or shamed, so she typically got off lightly with her punishments, and would repeat the act, but only like two or three or eight more times before it was finally out of her system.
HOMETOWN:Jamestown, Virginia
FAMILY MEMBERS: Stanley Powhatan (Father)
Adsila Powhatan (Mother, Deceased)
HISTORY: Piper’s parents had tried to have children many times. Their luck was scarce when it came to the miracle of childbirth and the couple had almost given up in their 40's when suddenly, miracle of miracles. Piper’s mother found herself pregnant. Extremely careful in every possible way, the family of two held all their dreams with the unborn child. Pippy was a miracle baby that marked the lives of the happy couple.
Piper received all the affections that a young girl could hope for. Through their daughter, the chief and his wife transferred all their most important values, beliefs and teachings. Always possessing her parent's undivided attention, Piper was the best child to make herself deserve it. The mirror image of her mother both physically and personality-wise. The father often joked that the two could be sisters. Never knowing that his daughter would grow to posses his stubbornness, ambition, dedication and courage, he loved her more than anything in the world nonetheless.
At four, tragedy hit. Piper’s brave mother had battled cancer for years and hidden her pain and fears from her daughter unbelievably well. On her deathbed, she promised her daughter that every time she heard the wind sing through the trees or the waves roll to shore to remember that her mother would always watch over her. Death came and went in the night leaving Piper’s newly widowed father to care for his only child. Doing so well, Pippy never wanted for anything… other than her mommy, that is.
Being raised by her father made her into the greatest tomboy in the history of the world. Clearing away from dolls and dresses, the girl, even at a young age, would throw on a helmet and play lacrosse or hockey with the boys. Children in the town played hockey in patched up skates and duck taped helmets on frozen ponds and in the summer would pull out lacrosse sticks, keeping the helmet to entertain themselves in their back yards. Her father taught her to swim and dive and canoe. He helped water the seeds of a passion for all aquatic sports that surpassed all other pastimes. Filling her need for a mother's love with sports and stories, the father kept the girl from wanting anything.
School began a new era of discovery, wonder and well-fed curiosity for the young girl. Teachers wondered at the devotion, thirst for knowledge and perfect attendance that separated her from her classmates. At age 15 Piper received a letter that would change her life forever. It was from some town she’d never heard of before in the middle of nowhere, but the way they could describe nearly everything about her inside and out intrigued her to say the least. Her father was against her going of course she was after his entire world, but after weeks of arguments back and forth her father finally relented and allowed her to attend Classic Academy.[/
DISNEY CHARACTER: Pocahontas
ABILITIES/ATTRIBUTES:Piper has an innate ability to connect and communicate with nature, including animals and plants/trees, due to Pocahontas being completely awakened in her.
DESCRIPTION: Piper and Pocahontas are near identical in terms of personality and characteristics. Her love of nature is a key characteristic of the Pocahontas we all know and love. Another trait they both share is an innate curiosity about the world around her. Piper, like Pocahontas, is constantly getting into trouble; she always manages to find herself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Not that she minds it is after all an adventure and isn’t that what life is all about? Piper has also found her mind drifting more often than not to thoughts of a man, she doesn’t know his name but has a vague idea of what he looks like she dreams about him every now and then.

"He has a sister?" Jenna said, surprised. Obviously she didn't know much about teddy or his apparent family members. When Liam thanked her for the 'compliment' Jenna simply giggled to herself and shook her head softly, he obviously didn't get it. "Anytime Li Li" she said through a smile."They look pretty blue to me " Jenna said turning her head to the side to peer deeper into his eyes "Ahh but there is a hint of grey in there" She said with a nod of the head, " I can look into your eyes anytime I damn well please!" she yelled "You should be honored that i even took the time to remember what color they are" She paused "And stop describing like im some kind of dog in heat, i can control my hormones just fine thank you, 'sides I don't think i could do much better than you"
Oh. No. He didn't ......Please tell me he did not just mess up her hair that took her at least three hours this morning to curl, flat iron and then curl again to get just right. Oh he was defiantly in for it now. Jenna's face relaxed into " AAAHHHH What the fuck Liam!!!" She yelled giving him a jab on his arm, Which most likely didn't do much damage, but it was the principle of the matter. "Do you know how long it took to fix my fucking hair this morning?! She said using her free to attempt to rectify her the mess Liam's just made. Jenna heaved a sigh and tried to look at her reflection in the makeshift mirror she'd made by holding the half empty bottle away from the sun, "You suck Li Lii" she said while still staring into her "mirror."
When he told her she was going to fall Jenna just chuckled and drew her lips closer to his ear and whispered " Not if you hold me tight" Okay so maybe she couldn't control her hormones quite as well as she'd like to... Jenna scoffed at the comment about her shoes "When you have skills like me you don't need Jordans" Her response was dripping in confidence. And then she was ducking her head beneath another tarp as the retreated into the darkness of the covering, "Being this close to me should be payment enough" Jenna scoffed 'And i am NOT that heavy, maybe you need to work out more". She said, staring too look around at all the different, dark shapes under the tarp, Though she couldn't really make out exactly what they were. When he started to put her down Jenna could hear herself go "Aaaawww" as her feet touched the ground and she let go of his neck. She was starting to really enjoy being carried around. "I can’t really see much can you?"
