The Second War is near it's climax. With Voldemort close at hand to controlling all for all of the wizarding world, the only thing that will stop him now will be the finding and destroying of Voldemort's remaining Horcruxs. With Voldemort already in control of the Ministry through his puppet Minister Pius Thicknesse, Voldemort's posed to strike at the Order of the Phoenix, who have been fighting against him and his Death Eaters since his return in 1995.
With the formation of the Inquisitorial Squad, made up of exclusively Slytherins, Hogwarts seems to be less safe this year than in previous. In order to combat the Squad, the students of the other Houses formed Dumbledore's Army. The DA and the Inquisitorial Squad square off for student rule over Hogwarts while the professors either attempt to stop the fighting or silently encourage their select students. With security around Hogwarts near it's all time low, a number of the Order members and witches and wizards in Hogsmeade did their best to protect the students against Voldemort and his forces.
But it seems like Voldemort has similar plans. With aid, he had planted a number of trusted Death Eaters into Hogwarts and others still in Hogsmeade. With Harry within his grasp, Voldemort has ordered his stationed Death Eaters to capture Harry -- alive -- and bring him to the Malfoy Manor. Not as easy as it seems with Order members and regular staff members at Hogwarts.
During all of this, Harry, Ron, and Hermione enter discussions with Dumbledore about Horcruxs. With the daunting task of finding and destroying the remaining six Horcruxs, for Harry destroyed Tom Riddle's diary in his second year, can they survive a Hogwarts with Death Eaters ready to capture Harry and spirit him away? Can rivalries from a generation past be put aside so this one can band together against the forces of evil? Join "Death in the Shadows" and we'll find out together.
