YOUR CHARACTER AND MOVIE: Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), Alan-a-Dale (Robin Hood)
NEEDED CHARACTER(S) AND MOVIE(S):
This is actually far more in depth than a character ad, but Rin and I do need two characters to play out our complicated little subplot and we hope you’ll give it a shot! This is complex enough that we’re requesting more advanced, experienced roleplayers, but please contact us if you have any interest or questions. (:
To start things off, we’re looking for a BBC-Sherlock-esque posse, so if you’ve seen the show it will definitely help you get a feel for the dynamic we’re looking for. Not to say that any of the characters are direct replicas of the ones from the show—actually, I’d rather they be a little different. Cora (my character) has the Sherlock vibe, while Shawn (Rin’s character) gives off the Watson vibe. We’re looking for a Moriarty and an Irene to help make this all awesome.

See the plot section, where I explain this in needless detail. If you have any dilemmas with PB’s, let me know. I may be slightly obsessed with them and I’m sure I’ll be able to help. ^^
PLOT:
“Moriarty”:
In this case, our characters have more to do with personality and motivation than actual Disney spirit, so I’m offering a few options for each one. If you like one over the other and feel like you could work with it, go for it! Also, feel free to contact me or Rin to ask about using a different spirit for this plot—I’m totally open to that.
I would love to see a female Moriarty, whether or not the Disney spirit is female. Her motivation for messing with Cora and Shawn is that she’s unhappy with the storyline of her own spirit’s Disney movie. She doesn’t want to play it out, and she hates Memory and wants to bust her way out of there. She hopes to get Maleficent on her side, since she’s quite a powerful witch, and hence her messing with Cora. Moriarty will also attach herself to Shawn, pretending to be interested in him, because of his tendency to know everything about everyone in Memory due to his sociability and his tendency to narrate. It’s a bonus that being close to Shawn gets her close to Cora. Here are our Canon suggestions:
Sir Hiss (Robin Hood)
He has a reason to be dissatisfied with his storyline, and would give his host powers of persuasion. This would also give her an automatic connection to Shawn (Alan-a-Dale), and who wouldn’t love to see a snake-Moriarty? Of course the host would have to be just as tricky as her Disney-spirit.
Traditional Disney Princesses/Heroines: Jasmine, Aurora, Maid Marian, Cinderella, etc…
These girls really have no reason to resent their storyline, so this option would involve the Disney spirit basically creating a sense of resentment in the psychopathic host, who has no intentions of sitting pretty and accepting some stupid happily-ever-after. The fact that she’s hosting a Princess will conveniently draw suspicious attention away from her, and so this will be particularly evil.
“Irene Adler”:
Irene’s character could be a male or a female—it really depends on what you want to do. Irene will, as per canon, flirt with and aggravate Sherlock/Cora, but in this case Cora is so asexual that she’s only attracted to certain people, not genders. So the gender of Irene’s host is your choice, as is which Disney spirit you would like to use. Here are a few suggestions:
Prince Phillip (Sleeping Beauty)
Who wouldn’t want to see a morally ambiguous, Machiavellian Disney hero? I think it’d be awesome. Especially since, in canon, Phillip is the only person who could really match Maleficent, and I think seeing them banter and war with each other would be awesome. Obviously the host would be doing more of this than the spirit.
Vixey (The Fox and the Hound)
Irene. Fox. The similarities are boundless. Also, since Shawn is basically part rooster the fun there is endless and involves scare tactics.
