ooc: Haha it's cool. Iago is finally going to awaken.
bic: Flash watched as the other's face turned bright red. He frowned. He didn't mean for the other to feel embarassed. "Oh, hey it's okay. It's not that big of a deal," Flash told him reassuringly. "I mean at least you've heard of the movie," Flash added as an after thought. "Because if you didn't that would just be sad. So...besides 101 Dalmations, what's your favorite movie? I myself have always been a Matrix fan," Flash asked, revealing one of his favorite non-Disney movies.
After Flash went on negatively about his character, he sort of snorted at Rodney's statement. "That is an understatement for how I feel for such a dishonest character," Flash said, arms firmly crossed. 'Hey, hey, you're not Robin Hood yourself pal,' a strange, yet familiar voice said. Flash's eye twitched. He just stared at Rodney, wondering if he said it. "Um, I'm sorry, did you say something?" Flash asked, paranoid. The voice just laughed, clearly amused. 'Look genius it was me not the cat,' the voice retorted sarcastically. Flash's face went white. "That's what I was afraid of," Flash mumbled aloud. 'Hey genius I hate to break it to you 'ole wonderful host, but you are talking to me aloud! So cat boy there can hear you,' the voice, filled with sarcasm informed him. "Will you get out of here already!" Flash once more said aloud. 'You're still doing it,' the voice said. 'By the way, I think you know who I am,' the voice went on to say much to Flash's irritation. 'Yeah no kidding. You're that annoying good for nothing parrot!' Flash thought back. 'Hey, I find that offending,' Iago said back. 'And whether you like it or not, you're my host for a reason,' Iago went on. 'Don't say it,' Flash warned.
Flash returned his attention to Rodney, already the bird distracted him. It was his turn to blush. "Uh, I'm sorry, what was it you were saying? Something about unlocking characters is important. Yeah, I get that and yes they are...trying to teach me how to unlock my...ahem character at Harmony, but it's like I said before, not something I really want," he said with a forced smile on his face, acting like that conversation he just had with Iago didn't happen. Sighing he then told Rodney, "oh please don't say things like that. It's not exactly helping reminding me that my spirit is a bird and your spirit is a cat, not really helping me here."
Then as Rodney went on, Flash could hear the parrot snickering inside his head, which caused Flash's eye to twitch. 'You know something, I am beginning to like this cat,' Iago declared. 'He really seems to understand me unlike some people I know.' Flash just grumbled. 'You would.' 'Hey, all I'm saying is the cat's got a point. Why don't you think of something a little more positive about me?' Annoyed, Flash just groaned. 'How about no?' 'Wow, you're as sarcastic as I am,' Iago said, surprised. 'So? Doesn't mean anything. You're still a suck up to the villains,' Flash told him. 'Really? You think that? No, by the moons, it's not really true. Kid, you need to stop seeing things in black and white,' Iago started causing Flash to frown. 'What do you mean?' 'Well, I only helped Jafar out because I felt like I owed him one. He's the one who found me at this bazzar. Anyway, he bought me and took me in. He's the one who taught me real, actual English not just parrotspeak. You know the type, the one where parrots just repeat what they hear. They have no understanding, but Jafar taught me that amongst other things...' The parrot explained. 'Like?' Flash asked, wanting Iago to go on. 'Well, he's the one who introduced me to magic stuff. And ever since then him and me been partners, always searching for magical artifacts.' Flash nodded. 'I see... Well, that explains a lot.' 'Really? Does that mean you understand me a little more now?' Iago asked, hopeful. 'Eh maybe, just a little, so don't get your hopes too high. I still don't like you,' Flash informed the parrot.
Flash looked back at Rodney, knowing he must have looked pretty strange just standing there not saying a word for the past ten minutes. "Ah, Rodney about the motivation... Thanks for the advice. I'll keep it in mind," Flash told him with a smile.
