The New Sith Wars rage across the Galaxy. Worlds are shaped and shattered by the flames of war, and the insidious Sith Empire seems to grow more unstoppable with every conflict. Throughout the Galaxy, the vast armies of the Galactic Republic and her Jedi Guardians do battle with the Lords of the Sith, hoping to someday restore unity and peace.
We stand upon the precipice between the salvation and the twilight of the Republic. At this time, 2153 ATC, the New Sith Wars have led to a new Sith Empire founded by a group of force users that - at one time scattered and all but extinct - outnumbers the Republic almost three to one. The Republic itself is faltering day by day, yet another casualty of a five-hundred year war. With no end in sight, it is kept in some form of stability by a faltering senate and the order of Jedi Knights who continue to shoulder more responsibility.
For the first time in Galactic History, the Jedi and the Mandalorians are on good terms with each other. The core world of Basilisk has been returned to the Mandalorian Empire and dubbed as their 'Capital in exile' for the construction and refitting of their fleets to ensure a successful invasion and recapture of the Mandalorian core worlds... though the possibility of such an invasion succeeding is slim.
Luckily for the Republic, not all is stable within Sith space. While the Republic has been forced to give ground, too much power has fallen into the hands of the Sith Empire itself. What was once a united group of Jedi-hating invaders, is in danger of splintering. Though a new Emperor is in power, the Sith have been unable to form a stable power base.
The Galaxy is trapped in a dead-lock... waiting for either side to make the next blow that will begin the real war. The Sith wait... the Republic watches... the Mandalorians wain... and the sun sets on the Knights that will one day lead a war they never wanted to fight.
Welcome to the New Sith Wars.
We're a forum-based RPG set in the Star Wars universe 1,500 years before the events of the films, in the middle of the New Sith Wars. The expanded universe currently gives this period of history a great deal of freedom in which to play, allowing players to set their own course for the Galaxy while trying to keep Star Wars canon. We're a friendly community that welcomes new members, and we encourage members to contribute as they can to the various plots and storylines on the site.
